But I tend to agree with you about Fane, could be a bit less schoolboy-ish.
Lacking the vocal chords makes talking (or making any sound really) extremely difficult. To circumvent such an obstacle he projects his tone and voice directly into the brain of the person he converses with. His silky voice is nothing but a creation that he wishes others will hear and be jealous of.
Also, Christopher Bon(e)well (his voice actor) has literally the perfect surname considering the character he's voicing.
Red Prince's voice is perfect for his character. I really enjoy the fact that they dug up Edmund from his Dragon Commander marked grave and brought him back for this game.
Presentation and background setting are two different things. Lizard can't possibly have that voice with their forked tongue, doesn't stop most ppl like him
Fane on the other hand, has the freedom of imagination of what a "projected voice in the brain" is like, and yet they chose a bad one. No surname in the world can help that
Simply stating that you dislike it is no argument on its own...
