You can use skills from +gear that others have to buy a skill for and spend points.

It was kinda OP to get free skills that others had to pay points to use. I mean essentially it was giving you free memory slots whenever you ate someone's body parts.

You won't get a skill every time you ate someone's body parts and therefore also no free memory slots just a few and if you have to spend points for those Skills they should at least be depend on the Class. If you have Sebille and Ifan in the group and play them as their default class (Rogue and Wayfarer), first aid doesn't make sense for Sebille because you would have to spend a point in Huntsman which would be more suited for Ifan's Wayfarer class. So OP does have a Point imho.

What you do is save before eating any body parts, then eat them and take note as to which skills you get. You then give the mask that lets you change race to the character you want to have the skill and change to elf. You should get this mask from the woman who destroyed ship earlyish on.

Trust me they got wise to it, I just ate 8 body parts no skill then reloaded got one skill, save then thought ok I got that skill switched characters after save ate body part nothing... then I reloaded it ate them again got different skill. Reloaded thinking skills are random nope got nothing now I am just annoyed because I got few skills in past reloads now I cant get anything. To be honest they need to do away with this giving skills. Its annoying and very broken

Why shouldn't it work? I can't see any reason why Larian would not just put in fixed body parts which give the same skill every time. Giving out random skills for eating random body parts is FAR more abusable than a limited number of body parts which give fixed skills, and being able to save and reloading to get the same skill.

That sounds more like a bug. There were a couple body parts in Wreckers Cave I ate and which gave a random skill or not. I discovered this after I ate one which seemed to give a Source Point, except I was already full. I reloaded several times and it seemed like every other time I got a differnet random skill.
