Other than that, sounds like a real bummer haha
Like if I wear a skullcap that is completely open-faced... ''you're a huamn like me!''
I don't know if you noticed some of the lines where you're treated as literally alive. Like... the game references flesh and ♥♥♥♥... which you clearly don't have.
Where the game differentiates you as undead from other characters as living, it does a great job. But in the more generic bits or the ''hiding'' bit... it kind of fails. It was a nice attempt that they put in at the end (the last bonus from the kickstarter was the undead race). Most games don't even bother trying to utilize the undead (or any ''evil'' race) as playable let alone to this extent.
So I'm personally willing to overlook the flaws...
The store page mention you becoming Gods later.
Sometimes the game wants me to use the mask to hide my identity, but othertimes just being veiled is enough to make people think I'm not undead, but human? But sometimes they can see that I'm undead just normally. I get that certain NPC's can sense it, like powerful ones, and can see through your disguise, but sometimes just standard npc's know for some reason in dialogue options. Yet, if you remove your clothing, they'll be hostile, even when they know you're undead as well.
In combat they completely meta game as well, knowing not to throw poison on you, that healing will damage you and so on.
I like it overall, but a lot of holes crack. Oh and the visual element to undead as well, where wearing a pirate hat counts as your head being hidden, but I get why they its like that.
