Use the mystic speech check or int speech check for non sarcastic wishes.

You have to win the persuasion check, maybe also pick the 'nice' answers. In my case I picked 'knowledge' and it gave me a nice skill book.

From what I read, the Fin or Int checks give good rewards. For... whatever reason. I got good stuff with Int, at least.

I said i wanted knowledge and he gave me a book for children, the only good think about that lamp is the lamp itself, since it costs 2k gold.

You need intelligence check, high persuasion helps, like real high. around 4-5. Edit: It's when you say that not all Godwoken are evil bastards or something like that.

In persuation checks MAJOR factor is skill level, not stat value.

Your increase of Int from 37->40 equal ~0.3 persuasion levels :)

Use mirror and up your persuasion (+get some items with it too).

Honestly, the rewards from the djinn are far worse than the xp for killing him. The best you can get is like 2k gold? correct me if I'm wrong. At that point in the game, 2k is the cost of 1 nice 2h weapon. Would rather the xp for the kill and just vendor the lamp honestly.

How about... take the lamp, sell it to trader in town, he summons the Dijinn, kill the trader and few NPC around with AOE spells and Dijinn also!
Profit... sold the lamp, looted the trader with some epic items and got exp for killing Dijinn.
WARNING: before the fight, buy everything useful from the trader!
