25 hours so far and did not even leave the first island, Fort Joy

It takes most people i've talked to 25 hrs to finish the first of 4 acts, which is about 20% of the game.

Swen mentioned in the live stream that it would probably take a brand new player to the series about 80-ish hours.

I believe it, finally leaving Fort Joy after 20 hours (it's basically the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tutorial island) the scope of the game really hits you.

Seems way too high, I took my time and ended act 1 after 15 hours.

You gotta be really slow if it takes you 25 hrs... even on tactician it wouldn't take 25 hours.

Playtime depend on your playstyle heavily.
If you are solo on Tactician - then it takes longer.

I heard that second city is four times big as Cyseal...

Playing on classic and getting through quite fast.
30 hours in and in the later half of the game.

lol im roughly 30 hours in standing infront of the high cleric.
i took tactical und it is very vry hard.
but it is a wonderfull game:-) and love the difficulty.
pickpocket everyone /steal everything to get some gear.
arena is untouched.

Also depends on difficulty. It'll take longer if you are on hardest.

took me around 25 hours, no doubt.
i like to explore every corner, read every book, do all quests and find out all the stories.

2 parts of the island are still a mystery to me as i did not have to correct talents to open it up. the fort has more than enough to fill up a good 20 hours

I did that, to be honest. Even Reaper's Coast I explored 100% and did every quest. Took me about 11 hours.
