Picture of health is good for any warfare main character unless you're a two handed amagae dealer but even then its not bad,
The pawn is only for movement and if anything it'd be better on squishy characters but overall its underwhelming.
Leech is really bad right now if you want a similar effect get bloodsucker from necro its just better.
Any scoundrel based class should get backstabber i see you don;t have it listed but i reccomend it.
Parry master good on any dual wielder its real good.
I think stench could be alright but i haven't used it myself yet so i can;t say anything about it.
Don't get oppurtunist on the shadowblade if anything take the talent that lets you avoid attacks of oppurtunity.
A talent i would suggest taking on any character is Mnenomic.
These are mostly just raw stats but thats whats best in the early game.
Only thing I couldnt find was "backstabber" or did they change the name ?
FYI beta backstabber isnt a talent anymore
Ahh my bad i didn't notice that since i have yet to play a scoundrel on full release was going off my early build information.
My Scoundrel (using The Pawn) can literally move half the screen without spending any AP each round since his movement is so high. This makes setting up backstabs easy or even just getting closer for a touch skill without spending AP.
On my Warfare guy, it allows him free placing for Whirlwind and so his swings hit multiple opponents. It also allows free setups for Battering Ram or simply getting close enough to use Phoenix Dive.
Duck Duck Goose makes sure neither of them is ever hit with an attack of Opportunity since they position a lot, and most enemies seem to have this.
---------------
All Skilled up is a waste. Get Parry Master for sure; I'm at like 22% dodge now and being missed is HUGE, especially with 200+ dmg a shot archers in Act 2.
But i really disagree with calling all skilled up a waste, early on raw attributes can be a big deal and raw attributes are good on any character plus you can respec it after act one when the attribute points don't matter as much so you don;t lose out on anything.
Overall i just gave him my personal reccomendations same as you no need to blow me off.
I can Backlash for one backstab after the initial join-battle backstab, but then I'm out of options until cooldown, unless I want to waste AP walking around. I do also have Cloak and Dagger and Tacticial Retreat on my Scoundrel, but they cost AP, The Pawn doesn't.
I'm I guess 1/3rd into Act 2, and I guesstimate The Pawn has given me at least 80 free AP total in movement (~4 free moves per battle), but probably it's in the hundreds.
I can't think of one reason why it's not essential on melee.
Arrow Recovery is not really a good talent.
Mnemonic is ok
Duck Duck Goose also
Hothead sounds nice too
but thats kinda it, isnt it?
