Or, you could probably just remove him from the party and play with other companions. You need a party of 4 (or less if you playing with lone wolf talent) and there are more than 4 origins companions around. You could leave Fane and his story out for the next playthrough. :)
Restarting would be your best option, if you don't kill them they're all still obtainable as party members at the start of act 2.
One point in thievery will allow you to loot all the characters on the boat when they're passed out.
just wanted to let people know that killing him is a bad idea but on the other hand he had nice loot.
anyway for the ppl in 'charge' maybe make him non-killable(at the boat) because new players have no clue. If you catch my drift :) anywho thanks for responding still whish i hadn't killed him 'cause it wasn't something i 'wanted' to do
