How do I remove a member of my group?

I have 4 members and am assuming we can only have 4. When I met someone I wanted to add,I can`t figure out how to boot a member out, I can`t interact with anything in the party management screen except "accept". And where will the booted member go?
Also are booted members allowed back into the group later and do they auto level up when not in the group?. Help please. Thx

You can dismiss the 2 new members by let your main character talk to them. Using the right option will have you dismiss them.
