i have been looking cant seem to find any thing can you name the talent you got?
I only tried two, the first choice was +2 str and the last was an item that ressurects you once upon death.
Edit: it's 2k, not 3k
Quil is Intelligence
Treasure seems to only give -2 const
Dragon is Wits
Last is a ress item
It's annoying to lose 14 % of my vitality when I play the party tank. Admittedly, the whole thing was a sketchy back alley deal, but the RPGer in me would never have anticipated that a risk taken out of curiosity would have consequences that irreversably altered your BASE STATS.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely ADORE the game so far. But I can't help but feel that, for lack of better words, this was a stupid freaking turn. One of the aspects of the game I enjoy (and this is true for all RPGs) is the process of constructing and developing well made and synergetic characters, and I know a lot of other gamers do as well. I don't thing it's fair to mess around with our base stats without offering an alternative to reverse it.
One could argue that it's "realistic" in an RPG sense, and I'll concede to that point (you can't help if you get an incurable disease like AIDS, right?). However, the enjoyment of this game is twofold for most of us; the RPG element, and the game mechanics. This "betrayal" elicits a paranoia in me that wasn't there previously, and I feel like I'll have to google for spoilers in order to avoid crippling consequences for my build. In other words, I now have an internal conflict of priorities; the part that enjoys the story and doesn't want it spoiled, and the part that enjoys building powerful characters and wants to avoid compromising their efficiency... and that irks me.
TL;DR: ... is there any way to reverse it?
The best way, other than loading a save, is using the mirror on the bottom floor of the ship to redistribute your attributes.
It will be like it never happened (unless you picked money like a goofball)
What era of RPG are you from? This sort of thing is common in games like Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Arcanum, and numerous other titles that this game is based off of. Similarly, are you not saving at every turn? The game even autosaves when you enter the Emporium, you could have reverted to that if it hit you so hard.
That aside, if you picked one of the stat options you can reverse it, provided it's a stat your character has already put points into. You can respec freely on Lady Vengeance, and since its a direct +2/-2 trade, you can take 2 points out of the stat she boosted and put it back into Con, rendering her effect null. For the 6k-per-character experience she offers, you'd might as well do this with your whole party, it's basically free XP.
Oooh nice, I was wondering where to get another one of those. I found one in an underground place and it's extremely useful.
If u have a rogue, after chose the item with the first hero, you can steal a copy of it in her back pack (work only once).
So now i have 4 item and 1 intel buff. And i use alot of rez scroll in combat. But i can't die even against combat i'm not supposed to do with my actual lvl.
Fun mecs.
