Mods don't show up
I am trying to figure out how to get mods working with the game. I've subscribed to some mods, I know they are in my workshop folder in steam/steamapps/workshop/content folder, but when I launch the game, nothing shows up in the mods section.

I've tried un-subbing/re-subbing, I've re-downloaded the game, and I've made sure that steam workshop mods are working for other games (they are). Any ideas?

Figured I'd bump this instead of making a new thread, but I'm having the same exact issue. Anybody know what could cause/fix it?

I have the same issue. I've been working around it by copying the mods from my steam workshop folder to documents/larian studios/divinity original sin 2/mods.

Thanks for mentioning that, it worked for me as well. Hopefully something will be fixed before long so we don't have to do this.

Hey guys, sorry I totally forgot about this thread I posted. The "fix" is very simple. When you subscribe and download the mods, they go into Steam\Steamapps\workshop\content\435150. In order to actually use mods in-game, the .PAK files need to go into Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\Mods. The folder probably won't be there by default, so just make it and stick your .PAK files inside. Now fire up the game, and you will see all your subscribed mods, which you can then activate.

I don't know why this game in particular has this weird roundabout system. I use workshop mods in several other games, and I've never had to manually move the files over like this, I just sub and go. But it is what it is. Anyway, this method works, the only downside is that if one of your mods gets updated, the update will occur in the original file destination, so you'll have to move/copy over the .PAK again to get the update.

That 43515 is nowhere to be found for me?

Subscribing to a few mods created the Mods folder automatically for me, and dropped the PAK files there as well. They still aren't working.

I am having the same issue as this.

I have copied the mods from the Steam\Steamapps\workshop\content\435150 folder to the Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\Mods as advised on many sites. They all appear in the Mods option in the Main Menu. All enabled and confirmed but do not exist in game or in GM mode, please advise as this is very frustrating!

None of these solutions are working for me.... I wish I knew what I was going wrong.

Maybe you are using mods for Classic edition while playing Definitive, or the other way around? Both of them don't work with the respective other edition, fyi.
That seems to be a problem some people have.
