Warrior VS Rogue in Final Edition
So, i heard they nerfed the Rogue. What's the best between a Rogue and Warrior in term of a Damage per Turn point of view, i can't buy the game until i've answered this question.

+ does anyone has build for it ?

The problem about theory crafting with all the skills is that it takes a while to get the skills you want. You finally find them on the vendor and they cost pretty much all your gold (and sell for 1/10 their buying price).

They fixed a bug with the throwing dagger on the rogue. Scoundrel is still a very strong skillset. Warfare is more about tanking and control of battle elements; rogue does way more damage.

Thanks Glythe, can anyone confirm what he just said that in terms of damage, Rogue is superior to Warrior ?

Rogues do a lot more damage due to backstab and scoundrel increasing crit damage. Also some skills go straight through physical armor

As long as you make an effort to be behind your target when using daggers yes. Which is fairly easy to do.

Thanks ! Is Dual wield still the best, or is it better to go for one handed ?

You'll get a lot more damage out of dual wielding. However, because you're offhanding a weapon, you'll miss a bunch with that attack and at times it can get frustrating.

Thanks Josh, do you happend to have a build for the Rogue, or at least general guidelines that i can follow ?

Dual is probably best for Daggers from a pure damage standpoint.

Shield gives defensive options, but ideally you should be behind the target while he's hitting someone else. You could also leave the other hand empty for the 'sucker punch' move and/or you wanted to use the ambidextrous talent for using items.

(Oddly in this game, Ambidextrous has nothing to do with dual wielding)

Knight heavily out damages a rogue atm, as far as i've seen (lvl 13 atm), 265% crit damage and i have over 60% crit at all times, already hitting over 1k on Hardest difficulty.

Could be i've just built my character really well =P, warrior scales damage and crit damage from 2 handed while rogue gets damage and dodge from Duel wielding, so a warrior gets an extra modifier over a rogue.

We also have the same lvl of gear, He has about 153-159 on his duel wielding ( 40% crit 184%crit damage) while i have 322 -348 (65% crit 265%crit damage)

Really, you can't buy the game until you know?

Are you just looking for help for your cracked game mate?

Please give me your build in detail! I am terrible at building good combos and would just appreciate someone spoonfeeding me at this point :/

Honestly dual daggers goes really well on rogues because there's also a talent that gives +15% more dodge while dual wielding. With most scoundrel skills you'll blast through enemy armor, sometimes flat out ignore it, and if you put a few points in warfare as well and pick up like Blitz Attack you'll get MORE phys damage scaling and be leaping around the field.
