How could i take this State Effect from my mate^^ ???? he is perma infused by a Demon and attacks everyone XD

The effect is BUGGED. Even killing blow will lead to demon infecting your character instead of dying so easiest way is to kill him with summons such as spirit wolf, bone widow and fire slug. On first strike on demon (no matter by whom - even allied dwarf or summons) it will posess nearest party member in radius ignoring LOS so staying out of posess radius is critical. Also it will regain all armor after leaving party member and got life steal. Shame - this fight could be so cool if worked without bugs. If demon not used posession even once using source vampirism on corpse will initiate posess and combat anew.

You'll probably have to heal him up again as the demon will try to kill him. He's a good distraction though preventing your team from being possessed themselves.

And this 100% not true. I now tried nearly 10 times bringing the pillars down after this sentence and no demon appears. Its the dwarf again.

Even in the easiest level for me it seems to be impossible to win this fight. Sorry Devs but this is unfair to all casual players. If i cant win this fight on easiest level DOS2 will be my last game from you :(

I am afraid you are right. I tried several hints and i fear its just unplayable or bugged.

In the definitive edition you need to kill the spirit to get into the room, but then all the chains are already off, so you go straight into a fight!

Necro spell Living on the edge. You can't die with it on.

This fight is unique, but not nearly as bad as this thread makes it. Takes a few times of getting the demon out to win, just don't CC it. CC makes it infest faster. If you can charm immune yourself, you can avoid losing control of your character and just take the demon with you.

Dismiss your companions (they return to the ship) and do it solo, as it won't posses you then. Just get it out of the dwarf 1-2 times and kill it. You can also repsec into lone wolf if you want since respec has no cost nor limit.

thanks to this topic it gave me an idea. What I did is:
1. Make the dwarf not to stand up again
2. Destroy all pillars exept one
3. Heal the dwarf
4. Summon bone widow and some more soul bonded things (wolf, slug)
5. Remove your party exept one person to the chamber where a gost is.
6. Destroy last pillow and run for your life
7. Watch how your creatures and the dworf fight a deamon
8. In case your bone widow is no more just make Fane create one more. Doing so you have a chance to heal the dwarf while it is still your turn.
9. Make sure you have anough AP to go back away from a deamon possess radius.
10. Enjoy

you can kill the demon by keep attacking the dwarf while chained up until hes dead
or
Attack dwarf while chained up until his health goes to 1 , his health will then refresh
attach dwarf now until red lines shot out him , and hes complains about his body

unchaining the dwarf now results in a dwarf ( on your side ) and a demon
here is the cheese
get all your characters to teleport away using escapist skill , i healed and buffed the dwarf as each character left

i then return 1 character just inside the dungeon entrance door

and the Dwarf will be fighting ( and will win ) against the demon

I killed my possessed member and the demon went out, so I could one shot him then

I did it with a Living on the Edge scroll and Enrage. Just took Sebille down with Death Resist and Enraged statuses. She lands a might blow and gets possessed but now she can't teleport up. I also got her entangled just to be sure. Then I attacked her and got her to 1HP. Demon reappears and it was possible to kill it with one shot.
