Tarquin gone missing

So I just recovered the artifact Tarquin wanted from the graveyard, but now he is completely gone. No corpse, no location, nothing. Went and checked the other enterences to the graveyard as well and found nothing.

hes the at the beggining of the stone garden cemetery place. not sure if thats correct name

Like I said, I found him there, got the quest, came back for him and he was no where in sight. checked the elf's manor and found nothing, looked over every inch of the graveyard and nothing. Thinking it might be a glitch because I was ready to leave for the next act, and had the other piece of the weapon already, hope it gets fixed.

Where did you find Johannah surreys grave? Did you have to use any spells or wits?

Her grave is marked on your map. And you need spirit vision to finish the tomb's puzzle.

Despite the map marker, once you get the second half of the weapon, he will be back at the Lady of Vengence near the fast travel dingy

He is, but he acts like he's never seen me before. I can't continue with the quest. Great.

Yeah, I just decided to rush that quest in future playthroughs, get it done before other triggers mess up his location.

port to the ship and then use the smal boat to travel to the coast and travel back again. you can give him the parts. he still talks like he isn't on the lady v, but he is

This worked, but now he's talking like he already told me where the next piece is, while my log is still stuck at "Perhaps this is the artifact Tarquin seeks"

The above solution didn't work for me. I've tried porting and ferrying a few times, he still seems stuck.

I found him near Ryker's Rest at x=550,y=180 on the minimap

I had the same problem and found him at the graveyard gate next to the bridgehouse. 544, 50

Yes, 544, 50 is where I found him too. There is a map marker that says "Tarquin's Whereabouts" there. So I guess if you can't find him where he was (550,180), go there and you can complete the quest.
