Is thre no way to save Atusa?
No matter what I do. Dallis ends up using Purge on her, even through walls with her cheating ass. Has anyone figured out a way to save her?

Found some elf lady and a little girl towards the turtles and apparently they're connected to Atusa. Wanted to try and see if I save her if that will go anywhere.

Go around via another entrance to the Fort, keep progressing through the entire area and complete everything for more XP, and when you're finally geared up and ready, return and aggro Dallis and Alexandar and fight them then and there, with two magisters and the two pets, as well. I'd recommend using a full party of summoners, as the conjured totems and incarnates give more targets and damage over rounds. Don't take Ifan, but DO pull him into your party at least once before you go activate the scripted event, so that he levels up and you can give him some better gear than the crap he starts with. This way he'll join your fight as an ally, giving you six people against two gheists, Dallis, Alexandar, and two guards.

In this way you saved Artusa?
And there's no battle with Alexander at the Port ?

Is there a way to cast magic armour on her and see how that goes?

I just spent 3 hours working on this so I wanted to add my two cents. I started with 1 point in Telekinesis. On the boat I started a mutiny and killed the magisters before talking to Windego to get extra experience. I then went around the boat and meticulously collected every item in my backpack, getting about 3000kg total weight (mostly packages, reinforced crates, sacks, boxes, and the bust of alexander). You can't walk while it's in your inventory, but you can use Telekinesis to slowly move it a few feet at a time as you maneuver the boat. If you put it in your inventory while standing next to stairs or ladders you can click on the ladder and teleport to the next floor despite being overburdened.

When I reached the lifeboat I said I'd go below deck to save the others. This is the ONLY way a single player can leave the boat while overburdened, because you can't talk to the life boat with the backpack in your inventory. I went down (putting the backpack in my inventory before clicking on the ladder so it went with me). Instead of saving the others and attacking the voidwoken, I killed all of the ally NPCs. This grants more experience, and they magically respawn when you reach the beach so don't worry about them too much. Then I loaded up the heavy backpack in my inventory and went up the ladder, triggering the cutscene to land on the beach. At this point I was level 2, so I put another point into Telekinesis.

Upon landing I made a B-line for the Red Prince. I invited him to my party and promptly put the backpack in his inventory so he'd be weighed down and not me. I then ran around looking for things to kill for easy experience. Void-touched Turtles in the Hidden Alcove, Crocodilians on the beach, frogs in the cave, etc. This got me to level 3. I grabbed the talent All Skilled Up and put the point into Telekinesis. This third point of Telekinesis is KEY to "saving" Atusa.

In killing the Crocodilians I obtained the Gloves of Teleportation. I put these on the Red Prince and had him teleport me onto the bridge in front of Dallis. I walked as close as I could without triggering the cutscene, then set down the heavy backpack. With 3 points in Telekinesis you can just BARELY reach Dallis from outside of the cutscene range from this vantage point - "killing" her in one hit as you smack her with the 3000kg backpack for 1500 damage.

Here's what happened: Dallis dropped to 0 HP but didn't "die". A battle started immediately. On round zero (before I got to act) Alexander teleported away, then Dallis said something along the lines of "I'll get you next time", turned into a dragon, and flew away. WITHOUT KILLING ATUSA. When she flew away it knocked down everyone near her -- the magisters, her pets, and Atusa. Then my turn started. Atusa was laying on the ground, dazed, but still alive. It looked like I had succeeded. Then 5 seconds later Atusa spontaneously exploded with no cause or explanation.

So there you have it. You can save Atusa, but she's still going to die.

Is it possible to get Living on The Edge before you have to do that fight, or get/craft a scroll?

Sadly you can't save her. She dies either by Dallis or by you
