recharge purging wands in driftwood?

i've used up one of the purging wands for the dragon and now i'm in act 2 and stuck at blackpits because i used up my wand charges. is gratiana somewhere around or am i out of luck and should have managed those charges more wisely?

once you reached act 2 the purging wand is obsolete. if you rush the main quest a bit, you can get the source vampirism skill so you don't need the purging wand anymore.

1. save meistr near on the gallow near driftwood
2. do your first smoke ritual
3. find 1 more source master
4. get your second source bar
5. do the smoke ritual again
6. ???
7. profit

Tips: the easiest way is to get to the on the west and to the farm on the north (use the minimap remember the N). I just need a self-teleport skill (cloak and dagger, tactical retreat, phoenix dive) and managed to get all 3 source bar without any fight.

source vampirism skill is not the same as purge, and it only have a 4m radius.

so you cant purge srieckers(or what ever they called)

you can if you get behind them or time it just right so the shrieker shoots one of your people while another moves in and zaps them..

Keep a wand, need it for shriekers. You'll find more later. As for the charges I don't know what to tell you, unequiping and equiping it again let me use another charge

i had only one because i used the other from fort joy and then had to proceed with the main quest to get the source vampirism.. no idea if or how they can be recharged..

i found if you need to get past lets say one shrieker you can summon a mini to take the hit since the shriekers ability to insta kill has to recharge. if you time it right you can send the mini to get killed while sending each group member one by one past them. works well if done right.

For future googlers.......I've found the another way to get past Shriekers is use an invisibility spell (assuming you have one) such as Chameleon Cloak. Cast Cloak, walk right up to the Shrieker, cast Source Vampirism. Mark off one dead Shrieker.

You dont need any skills for this one. Just use SNEAKING, and avoid the "Red'est" part while walking in it. That is their line of sight and just use it.

Source Vampirism work fine just get close to him, dont need to sacrifice anyone if you're Sneaking.

Sneak behind them and use vampirism. they see only in one direction from the cross

An easy way past without needing anything but a skill. Cast conjure Incarnate, Get next to the red and send him running while everyone follows. He gets zapped while your team keeps going.
