a taste of freedom quest, puzzle with pressure plates.
Anyoner solved this? It's a puzzle with 4x4 pressure plates that you need to light up to the green colour to open a door. I've struggled with it for a way to long time now and im getting crazy. Read somewhere that you need spirit vision to get help from some spirit how ur supposed to touch the plates. But surely you should be able to do it without the skill?

Use source sight to see the color pattern, Use vases and or summons to make said pattern happen.

I'm wondering the same thing myself. I got into this big fight involving a npc (lich?) ally, and when the fight is over the guy "poofs" and there seems to be nothing left to do but jusst leave.
There are also some kind of "buttons" near where the npc was lying, and i cant interact with them

Yeah, the lich breaks the buttons on his way out. One of the buttons frees him, the others hurt him.

Someone knows where the lich guy is?

After the lich has escaped? head west of driftwood, crossing the bridge. Follow the path right into the Cloisterwood area, he looks to have ambushed some dwarves to eat.
Further to that, anyone know what reward this is for continuing to spare him after you choose to fight and spare him, or let him go without fighting that encounter?
Just for curiousity's sake, I put him down this playthrough :)

If you choose not to fight him here, you can talk to him again:
you can offer him a source point in order to get him to stop eating people. From there, he teleports to his cache (marked on your map, just to the east of where you meet Hannag). There's a bit of extra dialogue (and you'll need a non-undead party member) and he'll wind up leaving you a chest with some goodies.

That closed the quest for me; remains to be seen whether he shows up again.

Thanks for the reply, interesting method of locomotion person! wonder if you can *then* turn round and kill him for his personal loot :D Though I don't think I mind the choice I made to finish him.

So for those that dont know what source sight is, that no one really talks about: When you go to act 2 and follow the main quest, you end up in the first big new city to meet meistr. Complete those quests and you get the source sight.
