Dismissing companions
Up until unlocking the swamp/marsh/whatever, I was switching between Sebille and 2 of the other companions, with no issues. However after unlocking the second area, I went to dismiss her (Sebille) again.
She left just fine, but never returned to her original place in Fort Joy. Is this a bug, or do the companions move to new locations when you progress in the game?
Or do they take time to return to their original places, because I never noticed any delay before. I could pretty much tell her to scram and go pick her up right after.

same bug with the Red Prince, now im going nuts to recover him.

Edit: Found him later on at the seekers camp... took me quite a bit of time. if you've unlocked the marshes try searching at the seekers camp.

I can find all the other companions at the seeker camp, just not Fane. Anyone know where he goes?

i've only found there the red prince wich is the only one i've dismissed since unlocking the marsh. The rest was dismissed previously so they remain on their original spot last time i've checked

What happens to all of the companions after you leave Fort Joy? Do the ones not in your party carry over to the next area (assuming I won't be able to return to Fort Joy)?

They end up on the Lady Vengeance (the ship you escape on).

No they don't, they actually die on the Lady Vengance, only the companions you select during the Lady Vengeance scene survive for the rest of the game so you have to carefully pick your companions before doing the Lady Vengeance scene (not getting in it, making it move). You can see their ghosts in the boat.

You can basically try to recruit any of the 6 you want on your party as they all manage to escape on their own if you don't have them on your party but any of them not on your party during the sequence will die and never be with you ever again. I think it's a bit weird and stupid (and maybe there's ways not for it to happen ? Though I've done it 3 times and they always died).

Only the ones you choose as companions on the ship survive the battle with Dallis and are with you for Act 2 on Reaper's Coast.
