How do runes work?
Hi, as I am not sure if runes were in the early access can someone with a lot of experience explain me how runes work? How do I apply them and should I do that instantly or should I save them for later and better items?

-Thanks

Go into the crafting menu, and on the top right it will say Runes (I think); in that dialog you add them, by selecting an item, and then a rune.

There isn't any feedback when you place it, but check the item.
Thanks guys!
The wiki page is nice but it doesnt give info about following yet:
"once you placed a rune into an item, can you get it back again to place it somewhere else" ?

Btw, will runes ever run out? And if you see a weapon with a rune in it, will the rune be gone too?

I cant recall any other game where runes run out ever! So no, they stay and you only need to unequip them from your current weaopn and place them into your new one and also upgrade them to gain better stats.

Sell.. Edit is your friend.

Take the runes out before selling them.

Really folks.. have you ever tried actually thinking.. about anything? Ever..

No, sorry for not being clear. Will the price of the rune be gone too or will it add to the weapon when you sell them?

Yes if you take the rune out of the socket of the weapon the price will drop likewise adding runes to weapons increases there value

Preferably current discussions, not dead conversations from over five years ago. Why would you bump this?
