Gated crypt petrification

In the gated crypt in the graveyard, how do you unpetrify people?
Just brute force with blessing with more source or is there a secret to this?

Cast Armour of Frost. But I don't know how to loot the sarcophagus without getting petrified

I eventually went back when i got vaporize, I was just wondering if there was some special way to do it.

try polymorph's lvl 2 spell medusa head. it gives you a 2 turn pertrification immunity. that's how i opened and looted that particular sarcophagus.

I just seperated my group so that my caster with Armour of Frost wasn't in the effected zone of the petrification, just on the far side of the square to be safe. I then moved one of my other characters in letting them get petrified and then cast Armour of Frost on them. I then told the same character to loot a second time. I'm guessing you might be able to cast Armour of Frost before looting the first time but I didn't think about that before I did it as described.

Didnt have armor of frost skill just blessed teamate who opened it and it worked

also, tip: kill all the pertified dudes for easy loot and xp

That’s kinda odd because there’s no reason why bless would do anything there.

haha, just use bless on water surface where you're positioned. Don't think hard, think smart
