Do the quest markers ever disappear?
If not it's incredibly annoying. Or am I experiencing a bug?

But guys, that lizard you killed 3 hours ago -- he's there! Big red arrow! Make sure you don't forget now!

Okay, well at least I know I'm not alone.

I have this question too. A bunch of my quests are still open and markers are still there, but I dont see any way of moving forward.

wondering too. MANY quests seem to not close after you are finished with them. That is highly obnoxious

yeah there was another thread about this, your not alone. I agree it is rather annoying as you have to remember which of the markers are now meaningless

I'm having this problem in addition to some quest markers not appearing at all. Characters will say something like "here, let me mark it on your map" and then... nothing. No new marker and no idea where I'm suposed to go next.

This is been intended as to make the game more harder and noted the quest you been done.
For gamer, those quest marker remain in the map are just for easy mode, if its removed then the game will be meaningless and boring.

Xiaoiicy; that's completely false.. it's just bad mechanics.. there are other ways to make the game hard without making it confusing as hell.. even in the journal it doesn't tell you where to go next nor does it completely remove finished quests.. I still have around 5 red flags up on the map.. yet 3 or 4 are finished.. it's just now i'm running around the same area's to see what I have missed.. that to me is dead boring.
