Where did paladin cork go?

So me and my friend went through all the trouble of saving him, teleporting enemies away to take them out one by one when they were far enough and being all sneaky, and directly after combat paladin cork runs into the building.... And disappears? I checked the dungeons, the front gate. No idea where he went. Is this normal? Does anyone know where he went?

I just finished the same fight, but I wasn't able to save Paladin Cork. Is there a quest line associated with him?

So i had 2 playthroughs, one with one friend, and another with a 2nd friend, the 2nd one actually worked correctly, basically he isn't that important. He basically just says "damn why'd they attack me, we thought something might be up with the magisters so we went to check them out but i didn't think they'd actually attack me, i'ma go check this place out a bit more then head back to our base" Then he has One line of dialog at the base in act 2, and... thats it? maybe he sells good shiz idk, but thats all i had for him.

You will meet him in paladin holds. I don't remember which one, either Driftwood or Arx. Maybe both, I didn't follow him around.
