Undead and Decaying Touch
Its confusing, so you cannot heal at all or does it reverse the effect or what is going on?

I was suprised to be hit by decaying touch, I thought like a fool apparently that I could still heal through my toxic means, I was wrong, poison absolutely wrecked me with Decaying Touch on. Infact every heal I could use seemed bad, so...

Decaying Touch > Undead - I don't understand.

It reverses healing to damage. Doesnt matter what heals u. It even says so. Healing will damage u.

It basically makes any healing hurt you no matter what source

Necro skills heal undead along with poison damage...

Find a poison staff or wand on another party member and shoot youre undead friend.

He is talking about decaying touch not what element heals him.

Nope, not with decaying touch, all poison does double damage and necro kills you. I understand it I just figured its like a really powerful spell against me at the moment

You can heal by sleeping, seems like the only way.

You can even use decaying on an enemy undead and then heal them for 200% dmg. (I think it was once true damage, but is now blocked by physical armor.)
For healing your own undead, I recommend a poison totem (in a save distance, so it won't get destroyed instantly but can still it your undead characters). It's smart enough to focus you lower HP undead characters over enemies. Heals you every turn for a nice chunk and deals damage if your full HP.

But ofc remove decaying (with fortified, bless or that hunter/warfare skill) before healing with poison.

If I use Cryogenic State (Makes me Immune to all damage and heals me) does it counter Decaying effecT ?

Healing techniques like vampiric healing and leech healing are not affected by decaying and they function normally

All healing from ALL sources does damage, you cant heal while decaying is up.

Life drain works though
