I'd like to know as well and google isn't helping. In some recipes it sayd "bone" but not whther fish bone will do.

I'm playing the Shall I keep this in case I'll need it later game.

So often have I sold stuff thinking it was vendor trash to find out 20 hours later in the game I need it for a recipe.
