Ifan questline broken, easy to bring it to a stop, careful
His first Quest is to kill a certain person, then talk to Magister Borris. Sadly i killed Borris on my way there and now the Questline stoped and can't be continued... Shame this has been overlooked because it is by no means hard to "achieve" this situation

Hey dude, my game is bugged. I have a constant wet status and my quests aren't updated when finished.

That's not a bug. It's just like The Red Prince needs to speak to Stingtail, but Sebille will kill him if you bring her along.
You can ruin quests by haphazardly killing stuff. The solution is to not kill everything.

i guess i got lucky when i talked with Stingtail then....first red prince asked if he could talk to him then after he was done Sebille did

The solution is to not make Quests dead ends like this. Borris needs to tell Ifan something, Borris is dead, but he left a note in his Quarter for example would be a good solution. And if magisters attack me, what am i supposed to do? Bring them cake and we'll settle things out? xD

The solution is to do what they did. Create dynamic quest threads which allow you to interact with NPCs however and in whatever order you want. Origin Characters quests will pick up later. It's not permanently broken.

@Rain

You can go alone with Ifan to Zaleskar,that continues the questline!

The quest line doesn't stop at all it resumes at the end of Fort Joy, no quest line ends that easily. I skipped the Borris part and he still carried on Borris is just an asset for him nothing very important

Actually yes this is a bug. Borris should have a note on his body (the same one that you get from him when you actually talk to him, duh..) which is not there, and this kills the quest somewhat, since even thou you can go to the next person, you will not get the quest line from ifan.

But it will pick up after you kill who you were supposed to kill (you kill him anyway). The only thing you do not get is a sweet crossbow for ifan while talking to his contact that you were supposed to know about from the note from Borris.

And I think it's ok, it's more realistic that way if you can simply ♥♥♥♥ up some quest by killing someone early. That is the way game is designed it is not really a title for mad completion is that need to unlock everything in one play through

its not more realistic this way. I killed Boris and found the note on his body. The note says Ifan should talk to Zaleskar to get a special weapon...so I bring Ifan to Zaleskar yet I get no dialogue option to ask about this. If this was realistic, Ifan would read that note and then talk to Zaleskar.
