Death Knight Build
Would going 1 H and shield, taking warfare and necromancy work as a good combo?

I really want to do a death Knight esque building but not sure how to really go about it and have it be effective.

I know he will definitely be taking leech.

Can anyone provide me some input?

I took executioner right at the start as it seemed a no brainer for me. Leech as I have heard is underwhelming and over shadowed by the necro heal spell (which is awesome).

I am debating on take mneomic as then i need to only spend 1 point in memory and get 2 bonus slots i did this with my lhose which i saw as a no brainer but not sure yet for the dk.

poison(geomancy) would be better than necromancy, as you could constanly heal yourself that way. but i could see necro working well
hell i made a plague druid (2h melee polymorph/geomancy) with the CC and poison my character is pretty sweet
Well Geomancy would only work if taking Fane or an undead. Otherwise, Geomancy wouldn't heal for a Death Knight Build. And If I remember correctly, they took away "zombie" talent because you can make undead characters now.

It might not be optimal for action economy to rely on potions, but I have had zero trouble keeping Fane healed. Just grab an ooze barrel and you'll have all the poison you need for Act 1,
and that's before you get ahold of a certain health -> poison converter artifact. (Although I've found that just Necromancy's DMG -> HP skill effect has kept him comfortable in every fight so far).

I just made Beast an inquisitor when I found him and he is a BEAST. You shouldn't get leech btw. He's doesn't do that much dmg, but he can tank a lot and crowd control. My huntsman does the physical dps and have also two mages. Working great so far on tactician difficulty.
Interesting thoughts. Any further update on spells abilities ect for those further on?

blood rain is good but you need to put a point into hyrdo to use it. So while your at it might add frost armour to it as well.

Any new updates regarding this?

It works and is fun. Corpse spidet is op
I've been playing my Death Knight so far and it does seem pretty broken. Almost dead? A single Blood Rain and bloodsucker usually gives me full health. Having Sebille is Flesh Sacrifice near me also creates a new pool of blood as well.

I will say it's been a good choice taking it. I started to support myself with a few other bonuses such as adrenaline ect.

Been Focusing more on my Warfare levels, only splashing into Necro for a few choice skills. Started Act II, now that I have serious killing potential on my Deathknight with his Strength skills I'm just starting to ramp up my Necromancy. I hit harder than my friends rogue. Shackles of Pain is great, Decaying Touch, Infect are also pretty sweet.

Necro/warfare is the build i went with for my character as well. I am still unclear as to whether sword and board or 2h is better. Anyone have any pointers?

Also how are people spreading their talent points? How much Int is it worth investing it?
Nodork Sep 22, 2017 @ 6:10am
it depends on the situation. shields up is nice if you have to tank alot of damage, 2h is nice to remove fast the physical armor from the enemy to make your necro spells effective. i have a 2h weapon an a shield / 1h, so i can switch according to the situation.

int increases the dmg of your spells + level of necromancy, i skill const/str/int, every level with the occasional point in mem for spell slots.

Sword and board will give you way more defence but no so great attack
2h will give you great damage but you lose out on the defenses the shield gives you.

As a warfare necro build, I'm not too worried about my intellect. Talent wise I went for opportunity, all skilled up, and. Executioner thus far. I haven't taken any other skills except necro and warfare thus far.

Not sure if I should get adrenaline or not.
