If you have the time to commit to a rather unique run, I'd suggest trying a memory main build where your character focuses on taking just Memory and learning all the spells you can. You don't invest in a damage attribute, instead relying on allies to do the damage while you torment and experiment on enemies with all the spells you'd ordinarily avoid wasting memory slots on.
That is exactly the way to go. The moment I looked at his health and realized he has no magical defense and his physical attacks are direct I just sent ifan to whittle his armor down to shredds while stunning him with my electric bolts. Poor bastard only ever got in that one single punch in the first turn (missed) and then it was stunlock city all the way to gameover town.
Thats exactly what I mean! You must experiment with your options and maximize them. Grogg and Marg made really good guineapigs for experiments. Oh man, If I didn't, I can still see myself struggling to fight Alice Aliceon in a fair fight or that damned Genie. Or worse I could still be stuck in wreckers cave with mordus!!
It makes solo LW runs a lot easier in those parts
Bwhahaha I was just about to experiment with that since I actually have the skill book but no one in my party has high enough polymorph skill. I also found out the hard way after you get your soul capacity upgraded to three, you virtually get nothing useful from the rest of the remaining sourcerer. They will just give you a random source based skill book instead. Should I kill Hannag? Ifan really wants to and she is actually behind the whole deathfog massacre.
