How to heal an undead ?
Hello !

I'm thinking about doing my 2nd playtrough with 2 undead + lonewolf.

But I'm a bit afraid about healing ...

I know I can heal an Undead with poison, but the problem is that ennemy often (if not "always") use fire; and I can't cast a poison spell on me if there is fire on the ground if I don't want to blew up myself :D

So what are the other possibilities ? Drinking a bottle of potion, of course ... that's all ?

Ty for advising me !

Bless on poison?

Well, you can Invest some points in Necromancy. I believe poison elemental arrows also work, as well as hitting your dead guys with a poison wand for example, even though with that or the arrow you would also explode.

Necro (the passive and the spells), poisoned food...Think even soul mate will heal them now, even if the caster of soul mate uses a normal healing spell (hydro), not entirely sure on that.

Anything that is poisoned will heal you and as long as it doesn't have an environemental splash..., though, if you are already on fire...you will take some fire damage too...

Always have some poison vials (consumable, not thrown) on you for emergency healing. The other best bet is using geomancer skills though they are slightly lackluster if you are not intelligence because their 'healing' is based on damage done.

Ah yeah, I don't use Necromancy so much on this run but sound like a good idea. Does it heal when you use a skill on an ennmy ? Or only when you use the basic attack, with your weapon ?

It heals whenever you deal damage but only to vitality i. e. no healing while you damage armor.
There's also a crafted skill 'vampirism' that gives a character +50% lifeleech for 2 turns that work the same as necromancy.

Ty jasmina ! I also saw a Necro skill called "mosquito" (or something like that) that deals damage + heal.

So I'll go for 2 undead necromancers (sounds logical, somehow ^^).

Thanks :)

Yeah mosquito heals you even on armor damage.

Bloodsucker, heals you anytime there is enough blood too (the little explosion guy creates a ton, then there is blood rain...). There is also a necro spell that just prevents you from dying, so you could use those turns to heal up.

Blood sucker + blood rain is a good idea too ! And it will remove the fire at the same time :)

It even removes necrofire, very useful later in the game.

Bless on poison applies regenerate, which harms undead. Generally speaking, blessing a surface will ♥♥♥♥ an undead's day up. Cursing a surface will ♥♥♥♥ their day up.

Use poison skills, poison wands, sleeping bags, Zekk's Ring to poison healing potions. Carry around a f*cking ooze barrel to fill potion bottles with to heal yourself. Use the ooze barrel to poison your food and wines for the undead.

Using a sleeping bag to heal to full outside of combat is always a good idea.

For in combat healing you get 10% of ANY damage you deal per point in necromancer which is great if your character is intended to do damage, a few points in there and you have reliable healing per turn.

Combining empty vials with an ooze barrel will give you a small poison potion, combine two of these potions to get medium, two mediums to get large. etc.
Slow process to do but its a good idea to have some on hand just incase combat goes awry at any point.

As also previously mentioned you can use "Zeikk's talon" I believe its called to poison any normal healing potions you have, converting them to a poison potion of the same size.

Putting one of two spells into geomancer will allow you to access some spells that create poison surfaces and the like as well which can be used to heal you, obviously they can also be set of fire but such is an innate risk of poison surfaces.

I'm already using the Zeikk to convert sometime my potion.

Well, I had never think to combine a barrel with empty bottle to create poison potions ... it's so logical and genius at the same time !

Thanks for the tip !

Thing about doing the small potions, then medium, then big potion is that for some god awful reason, you do not get the potion bottles back. Or at least I don't think you do.
