Comparing Equipment with Shop Items

I might be missing an obvious thing, but when buying from shops/stalls is it possible to compare what you have equipped with what's available to buy without having to leave the shop?

Or is there an indicator to tell you which items are better than the ones you have on?

When you hover over a shop item you will see its tooltip as well as the one currently equipped in the same slot for the selected character. You can select another character while in the buy menu.

Yeh, just hover over the item. So long as you haven't offered anything to them, you can freely swap characters to compare their gear too. You lose the ability to switch once an item from your inventory is added to the offer though. Putting vendor items in the buy column will not affect switching.

There is also a tab on the left side that shows your equipped gear in case you intended to sell them for the replacement.

At the reward choosing screen, is there any way to switch character to compare the potential rewards to the equipped gear of each individual character?

Not that I can find. This is quite annoying, but stops mattering later on as quests stop offering any useful stuff.

Thanks everyone. I'm using a controller, and hadn't played for a week or so. I forgot that you can press Y to see the details and then click the right stick to get the comparison. Doh!

What really grinds my gears is how you cannot sell stuff from multiple heroes in one go but have to put everything on your barter character first. Very annoying.
