It is best to port that character out to another character, you can aggro the voidwoken from across a chasm or you can run in. Running in is hard because there is a height advantage on a vampiric voidwoken and the flying bug.
Can you teleport to a nearby waypoint? Can you flee from combat? (there's a button for that ... I'd assume you knew but I've run into a few people who've just never seen it)
Can you teleport one of the monsters off a cliff or something?
Liberal use of potions!
And, ultimately, you might have to start from an older save. You should be quicksaving every 15 minutes, if not more frequently. (I probably quicksave every 5 minutes)
I managed to win after 3 attempts. But I still lost 2 party members. The same thing happened again where my turns kept getting skipped in favor of the enemy. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
Apparently I have just entered the Wrecker Cave through the Exit of it according this map.

I would still suggest entering the normal way as opposed to through the exit. Cause for all the frustration it generates at the end, it's actually a pretty fun dungeon. Trying to reunite your party is quite cool.
Reunite my party isn't really hard when you know how to use those two pyramids ;-)
2 under attach and 2 are free, at the moment those two that are free are together.
So, I think, it seems that it doesn't matter where you enter the Wrecker's Cave. Your team get kidnapped and split up.
However, if you enter the cave from the technical exit (near the coast waypoint), you won't get kidnapped, but you'll fight Mordus immediately instead.
That doesn't necessarily work. For example, I teleported a character in to help the other character who was in the fight. Then that ended up screwing over my whole party because the two of them in the fight still have no possible way to win. And they can't teleport out because they don't have enough Action Points to use the pyramids, and they can't survive long enough to regenerate the number that is needed.
My other characters can't reach them because of a) locked doors that they can't open and also b) they can't survive vs. the monsters that attack them on their path.
I can't teleport to a "nearby" portal because I don't have any. The closest one is in Driftwood Square. My characters in the cave have no possible way to reach the portal that is also in it due to the same problems just mentioned in the previous paragraph.
So my only possible option is to Waypoint everyone back to Driftwood Square, and then manually walk all the way to the back entrance of the cave, which is obviously not how this mission is "designed" to be played. The fact that the game forces me into this situation where the proper way to do it is broken and there is nothing else I can do about it, other than "cheat" my way out of it, indicates poor design.
Don't see the problem.
It sounds like you have both teleporters but they're both with one person? What do you mean you 'forgot to sort out the pyramids?'
Do you know that you can pass items to any members inventory (or even use them while theyre still in another member's bag)? Just open the bag that has the pyrmaids with each character and click 'use.'
If you mean instead that you simply don't have the pyramids with you, then you can always teleport to a waypoint.
I don't really see a problem here. The game gave you all the tools you need, and then put you in a challenging situation. What happens from there is on you.
