Reliquary in the lava on nameless island

So there is a non-teleportable reliquary in the lava on nameless island. Anyone have an idea how to get it? Flight from spread your wings doesn't help as the lava still kills you. Location is (129, 677).

You could try swapping the lava with the Terrain Transmutation from the Polymorph Skill. I am not sure how much larva there is but giving out a suggestion.

I used tactical retreat and cloak and dagger to get as close as possible, then farsight to extend my range, then telelport to bring the chest to me.

You can't teleport the relinquary though. There is a chest further on that is near the lava though that u can teleport.

Use Tornado (aerotheurge spell) on the lava, it changes it to passable terrain.

Cast "Living on the Edge" if you want to do it the hard way. :)

Hovering will ignore lava.

You will get this temporary buff from Temple of Amadia or just use Spread Your Wings (Poly). Although I tried with Spread your wings, while you are moving - you are hovering. However, if you stop moving while in this mode, your character will stand on lava and die. I never got the chance to open it, I guess its another Eternal Artifact (armor enchant recipe)

This works. Kept Ifan alive long enough for him to loot the reliquary and make it across to the safe rock without dying :)

Old thread, but I did it lone wolf/tactician using living on the edge/cloak & dagger/tornado with the phoenix idol equipped...

The rewards is pretty lame though. A good amount of gold and an ordinary shield. At least in my reliquary reward..

This reliquary is "non-teleportable" in my game. Tornado seems to work well though.

I used Terrain Transmutation on the lava there! Will tell you right now that's probably the easiest way to get the items inside of it. Dunno about Tornado, as I've never used it.

I'm not sure if something's changed. Actually (first half of August 2019) in the Definitive Edition you can't fly over it with Polymorph skill, nor teleport the chest or any of your party right onto its platform. The only way to get close was using Tornado spell nearby, then jump where the lava was with some movement skill. Swapping surfaces skills work too. Once removed from where it is, strangely, the lava is not going back anymore, so you could just free your passage and move with no hurry. Just don't walk in it :)

Aug2020, Tornado worked great. While you're down there keep using it up the coastline to get to the other chest down in lava by the boat wreck.

Having Duna's Armor Set (The one that gives you permanent wings) works. Although, there are some areas in the Nameless Isle where the perma wings did not work. There's a chest in Sallow Man's Cave where you need to walk through lava but the perma wings did not work for me
