Hannag Suicide WTF?

i started killing the magisters. she didnt help. once i killed 2 and one was charmed.. she killed herself. i tried to talk to her b4 i started the fight and she killed me. so i just started helping after loading a save.. i got xp and the window of op quest updated. and the remaining uncharmed magister is on my side now.. is this normal. i wanted to go through dialogue and quest line bs with hannag.. maybe i screwed up or a bug happened.

No, there's a bug with her where sometimes she aggros when you attack the Magisters. The only *potential* work around I've found is fighting and killing the Magisters while your people are out of her sight. This is only based on personal testing, though--YMMV.

maybe the fact a charmed magister came near her was too similar to one of my chars going near her and was treated as a threat.. i think he was going to attack her or climb the vines to get the other magister that recently deceased.
so the portals mean she went against me and im basically fighting her? if so, ill reload. thanx

Yes. It can be a fun fight, if you're up for a challenge, but as far as I can remember, it means that you'll lose her as a Source master.

Some weird things happen with Hannags scripts.
I find cloak and dagger to be the solution (sneak, so she doesn't see and lazer you).

If you can teleport into her face, she will start dialog instantly and not one-shot-instagib you.
In that dialog you can explain that you aren't with the magisters (persuasion check) then the fight should start. otherwise Hannag is too unpredicable in her actions.

As for her being a source master... I've read that when she teaches you it WILL DELETE pet pal talent from the character that did the conversation and basically delete one of your already limited talent points to spend. Before using her as your tutor, go to the mirror, un-talent pet pal, learn source from her, then respend the point into Pet Pal.

yeah i reloaded to b4 i charmed the magister and fight finished and she thanked me. what an assfat though, she was going hard fighting them... then i step in and she just sits on her butt and watches. jesus!
