Better Camera Controls
Having something akin to a hudless mode with freecam controls would be incredible in this game. I know some mods add it but the game looks incredible and being able to do this natively would be great.

The no hud might be, but I don't know of an ingame way to angle the camera more freely. It would help alot with looking around certain areas. I do know there is a mod for that, but no idea if it works on the latest version, and I am running the game on linux, so almost certain it won't work for me.

just want to clarify which version do you have. The divinity original sin 2 (DOS2) or
divinity original sin 2 definitive edition (DOS2 DE)?

If DOS2 DE - there were a myriad of changes, along the lines of a new story mode difficulty,
UI improvements to the inventory and dialogue windows, performance improvements, added dialogue to the quests and situations, new fights, a bunch of tweaks and balance changes to the class system and schools of magic. The definitive edition comes with both versions of the game. at least on pc.

If DOS2 - are ya referring the fog of war. Where if not yet explored you cant see anything but a black screen, and if ya did, anywhere near not near your character lies a just the trees and bushes/outlining of the environment of the map, there won't be any npcs visible to you. Although i haven't worked with this installment of the game.

could be a bug. Won't be able to help you on that front.
Not much of a modder for any sort of game, didn't know there were mods for
divinity original sin 2

I'm not talking about fog of war, I mainly would like a way to angle the camera better. Being able to look down an alleyway or just get a better look at some things would be nice.

did a quick search, possible solution - F10 is a shortcut to show/hide the UI, you could also press o to enter tactical view
Found the thread on reddit

I guess so?
Was a thread hoping more for a way to tilt the camera more then anything.

Right there is an option to put the view from it’s normal top down view into - tactical view.
To do this press ‘O’ to enter tactical view

Is there a way to get a more horizontal angle?

I don’t know. With the normal view and tactical view, you can zoom in and out of the character you control.

Don’t want to give links that could have Malware. It would wound me too deeply.
As well as just feel comfortable to Vanilla DOS2. I have 385 hours on switch and Xbox combined. Only recently getting it for PC through Steam
