Any way to get the origin members' stories without having them in your party?
Or a mod? Maybe some way to make them forced non-combatants?

Their stories are mostly dialogues so i don't think it is possible without having them.

Maybe you can become them: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2018608750

There's really no mod that lets me just put origin characters in my pocket without being part of my party?

No. If you want them to be there for their story, you need them to be there.

Why care about their stories, if you dont want them with you? lol.

Just google them, if you want their stories

I'm guessing you know about this, but in case you don't, there's a mod that lets you expand party size. You could literally have a seven-person party with all six origin characters with you. I assume you know this and don't want it, but the option is there.

Yeah, the problem with that is then I gotta take 8 turns. I just wanna take two turns.

So use the mod to get all of them, but unchain them and leave them on the ship. You might need to know where their quest interactions are to progress them, but you don’t need them following you. If you want lone wolf, you only need to have them with you when the act transitions from act one to two.

I know there are several fiddly ways to accomplish it, I just wanted to know if there was a way to circumvent those fiddly things and put them in my pocket like a jrpg.

But there's not and that's sad.

Guess the demand for such a thing just isn’t there.

This. This isn't a jrpg where you have a dozen party members you swap between. You have 2-4 party members that you develop for the entire game. There are mods as described that do what you want, if not how you want it, and interceding stories means you may not be able to get the whole story from every character anyway like that. There is always the possibility of just playing multiple times, extending the value of your purchase.

Don't suppose you've seen the hours I already have in the game?

Just curious because the idea is wierd to me. Unless I have misunderstood what you said, I assume you want to learn each of the Origin stories without actually having them with you? In that case simply reading/watching them online, achives just that.

If you want to swap them out without having all of them at once, you could try to use the increased party mod, make sure to have all of them in your party during the end of act 1, then dismiss them, and take the ones you want.

I don't have any experience with the mod, so I don't know if that would work. If it does work, then they should stay at the lady vengeance after you dismissed them, and you can pick them up whenever you want. If thats too much, and you simply want a spell/item that summons them for you, I quess you are out of luck.
