Can this game be completed solo? I.E: No other party members..
Just curious as to some opinions. Greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Yes, though it generally requires knowledge of the game to do well. That said, there's a talent specifically meant for going two man and it works as solo as well. Could be done easily on lower difficulties.

Second playthrough did with the Lone Wolf talent on classic, was easier than with 4 man imo.

As a magic user, steel, or thief?

Generally Intelligence > Finesse > Strength. All can be a solo build but mages usually have it best.

This build for example can easily solo the game.

Lone wolf is a broken talent although I don't recommend it on first runs since you will not see at least 2 companion's stories.

Game is made for 2 with lonewolf or full 4 man party, that being said its possible to solo it, although you either need to play on the easier difficulties or have a good experience with the game.

The main problem is getting stunlocked, AI knows when it can stun you and the moment any of your armours deplete, you will not be able to play because you will be constantly unconcious while 4-6 enemies all focus fire you down.

When you have another party members, they can cleanse CC from each other and when a one guy falls to a ice sculpture, you only lost 25% of your strenght, not 50% or 100%.

There a lot of solo- honor mode builds around . You dont need to play on easier diff to solo the game. But you do need some experience.

I would imagine some of the solo benefits would be simply turning the map into one huge inferno of flames or ice, and not having to worry about allies.... lol

It's a common challenge run style people do. Once you know the game though, it's not too much of a challenge without other things, like invisibility or telekinesis, also ruled out.

When you master the game, you can even do solo without lone wolf. it's pretty fun.
