How do I get a high tier blank air skillbook?

I bought a superconductor scroll and I need a high tier skillbook to craft the spell but I can't find any.

in driftwood square, one of the traders almost always sell one.

It’s a random roll in crafting vendor inventories. There’s two lizards in the undertavern, the potion vendor in the square, the dwarf at the Paladin bridge, one of the elves at the elf camp near the lumbermill, possibly one of the dwarves over near the mill, Tarquin possibly and maybe one other I’m forgetting can all have one.

In my personal experience, that recipe never worked. I could never make a superconductor spellbook using that scroll. Never figured out why.

I just got the book and the recipe worked. Maybe you tried to do it with a normal blank book instead of high tier by mistake or something.

Nah, I've had quite a few bugs like this that aren't consistent with anything I've ever seen someone post about and that nothing like reinstalling has ever done anything to fix. My main hand wand attacks for player created characters only will attack twice, once instantly when the attack starts and once when the projectile lands. There's quite a few recipes that are supposed to work that never have and many other little things. I've never understood it and have stopped trying to fix them. Most are quite minor anyways.
