Lohse is a threat
If you are playing any of the other origin stories, not Lohse's, then the gods who give you bless all say to KILL LOHSE ASAP. Apparently she becomes a threat to all in the sections of the game still to come. Guess it has to do with the entity possesing her. She says it is not a demon and several other things so that leaves us to wonder what is the entity. Maybe it is the essence of the Divine? Theorists speak up!

The demon being the Trife would also be really cool, but I feel people that didn't play DOS1 might be confused by it.

The Trife is a creature that was once Astarte's friend that was corrupted by the void's influence. The Trife tricked Astarte's into opening the box, which rereleased the Void into the world. He mocks the source hunters for not remembering their failure of not stopping her from opening the box centuries ago whenever they unlock a new room at the homestead. He is fought as the third to last boss, and is probably the hardest boss in the game aside from Braccus.

I loved that in DOSEE. Hope that DOS2 has eerily memorable moments like this sprinkled through act 2 and 3.

Back to topic I think everyone can be a threat at some stage, maybe (and it's a rather big maybe) Sebille would be the less of a threat as her story so far is pretty just about her personal condition and doesn't involve too many people.

But Ifan did so much crap in the past and is not the type to say no while the Red Prince also did some nasty sh** and is a super high target. I think the huge difference with Lohse is that she was the "normal girl" but ended up also becoming messed up against her will (Sebille too in a way).
I love the idea though of losing control of your character when you play as Lohse.

Sebille has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ moral compass and Ifan is pretty lax now, Red Prince is a douchebag but he actually is a pretty decent guy once you get to know him.

Its to be expected from Sebille, who was kidnapped, sold into slavery, disfigured and forced to commit murder for who knows how many years or decades. She's out for revenge and every use of her needle is a mean to an end.

I don't know how many names you can go through, but if you use the needle and select to carve a random name of her victim, it goes on for a very long time without repeat, all ending with "because the master made her"
actually the thing in her is super interestening. :D
since i want to play somenting like a vampire noble but outlaw shadow blade
but somehow the shadowblade sound cool but the rough is deadlier without a party :P

somehow i'm hiped about the undead clas comming soon^^'

This is true concerning everyone can be a threat, and I admit Lohse scare me the most because the entity within makes her unpredictable. Hope I can help he overcome and don't have to dump her or kill her as the game progress .... this unknown is sweet stuff.

I am still inclined towards the entity been the void or a void top minion, since the void seeks dominance over the gods and was defeated in a previous battle by human. My thinking is that it seeks to be on even footing in disguise to learn about the human it knows it will meet during the final confrontation, so why not learn all its the secrets and fighting skills before then.

What if the thing inside Lohse can have the possibility to completely take control over her and you can depending on how your story unfolds have Lohse replaced by an entirely other character a lot more darker ? :p

I would intentionally make it take over her then, Because why not :steammocking:

I'm pretty sure whatever is taking her over is way more harmful to you and your ambitions than Lohse herself.

Remeber, you always have the choice to attack Lohse and break her out of her possession trance, even if Lohse is your main. This works in the early elf cave fight. Just have your team target Lohse like the blind elf seer tells you and ignore all the other people attacking you. Once Lohse drops low enough in health the fight will end.

Sure but that's super early into the game. We can expect whatever is inside her head to get stronger and stronger to a point she gets really out of control and do really crazy stuff like destroying an entire village or something.

She reminds me a lot of Anders from the Dragon Age series who had a demon (I think it was a demon right?) inside him (even though in this case it was a lot more clear what it was inside him etc). In that series in the second game Dragon Age 2 the whole ending of the game and all the ultimate events are actually caused by Anders and the demon inside him while absolutely nothing before that pointed out that he could be causing so much troubles (for the whole game he's a regular party member with his own side quests etc). But in the end you have to decide to side with him and basically go against everybody else that won't side with you (including possibly the entirety of your party members depending on your relationships with them, which can be hilarious) or to go against him (in both cases you end up killing a lot of people).

I can imagine that Larian won't copy-paste the same type of situation but I really could see happening something even more dramatic/epic/earth-shattering.

Who knows maybe Lohse will end up being the "villain" because of the thing inside her who actually is the main antagonist of the game and if you play her you end up against everybody else. (that would be legit hilarious)
