This is a screenshot I took from a youtube playthrough I was looking at just now to see if the same thing happened and it didn't, he was able to finish talking to Malady and then got to talk to his companions.
You can take a look for yourself too if you want here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Im-XWgnxB7g&t=1721s
At 29:46 into the video (above) he reaches where I reach and encounters this issue.

And here (above) you can see he talks to his companions.
In this other person's playthrough as well, they were able to finish talking to Malady and get their companion conversations:

While here (below) at around 18:24, you can see the dialogue for Lohse disappear, which is what happens to me:

I would suggest doing something like saving before such events do them then load and skip through them as quick as possible if missed chance, while having companion close so you can click them after asap.
(not like they the annoying to click bunnies/squirells that run around far to much and may even suicide so should be able to in time).
The 1 good/bad thing is most times these ! banters are minor any ways (you will see this when you do it) where they mostly all just say ya we should do the good guy thing or something minor like that
(honestly may as well have just had them say it without a box pop up >_> but guess idea is, you asking them what their thoughts are on situation and them having small attention span and care).

Ah I see, this bothers me quite a bit a lol. I guess I have no choice but to do what you suggest, I do save very often.
I still wonder how it didn't happen to the people in the first two videos I shared above but happened to me and the last person's video I shared. The only difference I see is the party so I'm wondering if that's why.
Maybe just timing didn't honestly look and compare but assume 1 toke longer then other.
All the videos I watched and myself in my game let Malady speak and continued as soon as she finished a sentence, so I don't know. However, I did try what you suggested and speed through the conversations, which did allow me to finish all, so thank you for that suggestion. Though I am still hoping someone comments to let us know why this may be happening.
(though don't think they made intentional or even accidental changes in this area)
or mods (again though highly doubt)
Glad it worked out for you though, good luck with all future encounters of it.

(personally quit DOS 2 ages ago played it enjoyed it etc... just like helping people here on occasion still since it tends to have a lot of people asking and is decent game I liked)
Ah I see, that's nice, thanks for sticking around and helping out. You also helped me out before, a few weeks back when I was picking my companions.
As far as I know it was never modded oddly enough, in theory it possible it in 1 the massive mods like leadership library (think called leaderlib now) sort of thing but as far as I know it is not in any them.
(if you don't have that I do suggest it since it makes all conversations go to Main Character, much more immersive and how it should be imo).
