Thanks anyways
He was a good company though wasn't that annoying and I even liked him and quercus a bit.
If you weren’t aware, there’s a skillbook combination for every combo of the 4 magic elements combined with all the rest of the “physical” skills. Elements don’t combine and physical skills don’t combine, but one of Pyro, Geo, Aero or Hydro mixed with one of any other skill yields a new skill. There’s a source version of those skills as well, just swap out any one regular book for a source skill to make that instead.
Some are pretty useless or incredibly niche. Others can be quite potent if used effectively. One of the best you can make is Geo/Huntsman which makes Throw Dust. The source version, Dust Blast, is effectively a miniature Pyroclastic Eruption, the strongest spell in the game. Throw Dust is also useful because it clears any surface, necrofire and all.
Isn't there any other way to obtaining these spells you mentioned? I tried buying any pyromancy spell I could from vendors and never got necrofire or the epidemic of fire, etc.
Also, can I combine scrolls and get the same result?
Epidemic of fire is a normal Pyro “source” skill. Should be sold by most Pyro merchants sometime in act two, I forget the specific level unlock. It’s really the only necrofire spell obtainable, though other spells can create cursed surfaces that can then be ignited into necrofire.
There isn’t really another way aside from crafting. Blood Rain is a crafted book you can find in act one, but that’s about it. There might be one or two more, but most must be crafted.
