Max source but no vampirism

Is this even viable?
i've been playing my current playthrough without relying to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sourcerer like ryker or even hannag.
Took the points from Saheila and Almira but im a bit confuse on how to kill shrieker or even getting any source infuse.

The easiest way to keep source filled is to drop one of your teleport pyramids a tthe source fountain in Siva's basement and just teleport there when you need some. You can drop a pyramid wherever you are and activate it on the ground to teleport back to wherever you were originally as well. You might have trouble in later acts where such a fountain isn't available though. You can consume source orbs as well, but they're quite expensive and valuable.

The reality though, is that source primarily comes from the essence of living beings, even the source pools you can absorb off the ground. So its hard to keep full without using vampirism.

My recommendation would simply be to avoid using it unless you absolutely have to.

are you asking if you can get 3 ticks unlocked without, or if you can keep it filled up without it?

there is a cheat grab bag to fill it on rest.

It sounds like you got the source points but never went back to the lady in Driftwood to get the skills, is that the case?

After getting the 2nd and 3rd source point slots, you need to do the blackroot ritual and go back to the Hall of Echoes. I didn't totally understand what you were asking in your post, but it sounds like you have all 3 source points but have not done the ritual...which is how you'll get the source vampirism spell/skill. The game is really built around getting that ability; you'd be gimping yourself w/out it.

As for the Shriekers, I think there's only 1 in Act 2 (Reaper's Coast/Driftwood). If you don't have a purging wand (better than source vampirism re shriekers b/c of a much better range), you can either avoid the shrieker or put Death Wish on a PC and run up to it and use the short-range source vampirism before the shrieker can kill you.

Sorry it was 3am when i type this forum so might be unclear,
in this playthrough i avoid getting source unlocked from sh*tty sourceres like Ryker who taught you purge/vampirism, jahan or even hannag.

I unlocked 2 from saheila and almira the succubus,
i was wondering is there a way to gain source without needing to go back to source fountain.
Because damn its so annoying when i try this playthrough compared to one where i just vampirism it from human or animal.

I guess i''ll just go learn vampirism from Ryker and kill him after that, thanks man
i done everything and refuse from jahan and hannag but i leave ryker hanging because i was afraid no other way to get source

Um, I got vampire by huffing the smoke and talking to my hallucination. Not from the NPCs, but off in hexafugly land of the so called deities. Maybe you need to burn one? As far as I can tell, wait until you have 3 ticks of source, then redo the ritual.

forgot how did i get vampriism, i thought it was ryker.

No, Vampirism is gained from your god in Act 2 or from a tablet in Act 3 if you missed it for some reason. Learning from NPCs after you maxed out your Source points will instead grant you a Source Skill. I think Jahan is the only one who gives a unique one though.

No problem. I also took a huge break from the game, I'm in Arx as well. Not the best place to be rusty but whatever.
Also pretty sure all the gods are ♥♥♥♥♥. Though I think some are a bit extra.
