However if you're just going for the achievement, you don't need to sabotage your playthrough in order to get it. You can play normally through ACT II up to a certain point, get the achievement and reload. That's what I did at least when I was going for it and it took only 10 minutes to get it.
The way I did it was:
If you're going for the sake of story as well as the achievement though, then it is important to know that your God and the Advocate are the only ones who can tell you the location of the island.
Therefore:
You mustn't get a 3rd Source Point otherwise your God will tell you the location of the island
If you kill the Black Ring members before the Advocate, the Advocate will tell you the location of the island
Just make sure you don't talk to the Advocate! In my first playthrough i talked to him, then completed the whole map, refused to learn source from all source masters and haven't got the achievement. :(
In my second playthrough, i never talked to the advocate, attacked and killed him directly without talking a word (so it also doesn't matter if you already killed Almira). You can also kill Mordus and Ryker, because they are evil anyway.
After you refused to learn from the last 3 source masters (which are still alive), just reload and learn source from them (Jahan, Saheila and Hannag).
