There's 6 different solo builds there to clear the game on honor mode. Of course you're welcome to ignore the guide and just take a look at the builds.
Worst case scenario you can enable 8 AP via the Gift Bags.
It depends on how you play, but personally I like figuring things out for myself and taking "Leeto Dude 2000's 10 MUST HAVE PRO BUILDS” for a walk isn't really my thing. I prefer taking an idea like experimenting with a particular skill tree, or hybrid skills or playstyle or a mix of all three and tweaking things when something stops me from moving past an encounter, the feeling of satisfaction of resolving an impasse is immense, and I learn a lot more about what's in the game to boot.
The biggest gotcha for me on my first solo game was inventory space - especially in Fort Joy where you can't just send stuff to Lady Vengeance. The game has to have enough loot for a 4 member party. As a result soloing and following ingrained habits you've learned in bigger parties of just grabbing everything fills up inv fast. You also need a strategy for things you know you'll need later but don't want to lug around like skill books, partial armour sets and weighty quest items. I tend to set up caches near waypoints, sorting my inv by weight to easily see what I don't want holding me back longer than necessary., gradually moving my stash around as I unlock waypoints furtherr into the island, so I can eventually just lug everything onto the Lady Vengeance without having to run around at the end.
The Cat is also really useful for those times where you have too much loot to move. The game will let you teleport to a waypoint, and the cat will get you the rest of the way. Chaining swaps can get you further than you think.
