Squirrel (DLC) is gone?

I am at Fort Joy and i realized the squirrel (DLC extra quest) is gone. But a black cat follows me. Where is the DLC i have paid for?

Every one of your questions seems to imply that Larian is somehow directly screwing with you. That is not the case.

If Sir Lora isn't currently following you, that means that he may have gotten stuck somewhere and will find you eventually, you told him to bugger off, or he died. If he died, you'll be able to get him back in the form of a ghost later on, with little impact on his behavior.

I mean tbf+honest would be Larian's fault technically/actually

To Op:
idk could be a bug game some how removing quest when you got cat though I think you may have just simply not notice squirrel some how though since he forces talk idk how that would happen, but I don't recall seeing this happen for others so idk, suggest just looking around starting area again (can also google vid).

Thought of another way to possibly find out if he dead:
Can grab mod infinite source vision to see if his ghost with you (even temp. if don't want mods for w/e reason)

Note: not sure if gift bag version works instant or requires normal unlocking of skill first(seems unlikely), but unless changed the normal Og proper mod should.

(also note: remember gift bags can't be turned off and technically should not even turn off normal mods just don't save and load back).

Pretty sure it died and you won't be able to see it until you learn spirit vision and you see it's spirit. it also happened to me.
If you learn spirit vision, you still don't see it and you didn't tell it to go away then it's most likely a bug and you should report it.
