I told him to wait 5 mins for a start, and thought it was just the 4 Magisters. Having what appears to be permanent(at least during the fight) blindness on 2 of them, plus the NPC caused that to happen.
Oh yeah this. Just noticed the hidden shiny enemy lol
So if I'd teleported the chicken away with one of the others - instead of using Clear Minded, it would have cleared it?
...............or walked away from it even?
Cool. I'll know next time.
Thanks.
You'd think Peace of Mind would protect you from Charmed too, not just clear it. I'm going to learn a bit about Potions before too long.
Saw someone take a potion and along with other buffs, got his Intelligence to something like 135, and Crit Chance to 100% - then one shot the Doc, with Grasp.
The whole high intel thing is just the large attribute potions. They're +13 normally, but if you have five star diner they're a 26 point boost. You can only buy them however, they're not craftable. Its why mushrooms like Boletus (though that one has a quest component) are useless because their +1 effect alone or in a potion isn't significant and there's no crafting method to combine them like other potions. Be kinda broken if there was as you'd just make the +13s in the beginning act and stomp fights.
Or boost your magic armour to anything above zero. Then clear mind. The aura will only apply a new stack of blindness if you have no magic armour.
If you don't want to spend a lot of time making potions and applying them before battle, this is the way. Magic Armour potions stop a huge amount of CC though you do have to clear first though there are only a couple of persnicky status effects that are not easily cleared.
