pixie dust and superior pixie dust
hi everyone, doing a coop game with a friend and we are raching the end of the act 2. we decided to start crafting and encountered a small problem : we cant find pixie dust. A lot of merchant sell superior pixie dust but regular pixie dust seems impossible to find.
I do get that it because we are high level and that merchant inventory updated but in order to make higher tier runes we need regular pixie dust.

Is there any way to buy/ get pixie dust somewhere or are we doomed to a pixie-dust-less existence?
(i already know for Han but one pixie dust per level is gonna take too long and i'm not even sure it will be enough as you need a ton of them)

What do you need a ton of them for? The main use is for runes, and you're better off buying them directly. But, stardust + bonedust will make it. If you have stardust herbs or bones, mix either with a mortar&pestal to get the dust.

Tarquin in the graveyard sells runes consistently. Making runes from scratch and combining all the way from small up to giant is a lot more expensive than buying 2 large and combining them to giant. Generally, you don't wanna ever make them from scratch unless making ONE small rune will allow you to combine up to a giant with your existing inventory.

I'll second this. You never need to bother crafting a small rune itself from raw materials. The materials often cost more than buying a large version outright and that's just to make a small. I'd only bother trying to get your mediums into larges with regular pixie dust. That said, vendors will still occasionally sell the standard stuff here and there. Check all the materials vendors. In act two that'd be Bree in the square, the dwarf at the Paladin bridgehead, the two lizards in the undertavern, one of the elves at the elf camp and I think there's one more somewhere... The doctor outside the graveyard maybe? Rune vendors are a bit less common, but Tarquin usually has some and one of the dwarf merchants stuck on the other side of Paradise Downs/The Lumbermill has them as well.

yeah about that... we may have killed him. We did not trust a shady guy who used to work for the ennemy. We didnt know he would be so important.
