How do I leave Amadia's temple in Nameless Island?

I completed the quest, but when I try to go back by portal, all it does is to teleport me to the other portal in the same map and I can't get out of the map.

You didn't take a portal to the temple, you climbed up the vines, right? Should just be able to climb back down those vines. Or just use a waypoint to anywhere else in the act, of course.

I'm basically stuck on the map with the two portals and I can't find any vine or anything to climb down. I feel really dumb for it. Can someone point out where exactly is the way down?

I'm not really following where you are, can you provide a screenshot? Can you use a jump ability to get to a different platform? Do your waypoints not work for some reason?

I'm playing the nintendo switch version. I guess I'll hug the ledges until I stumble upon something

I'm not sure I'm following, does the Switch version not have the same waypoints? I don't know what the controls are, but if you select the blue button on your mini-map, you should be able to select any waypoint you've found in the act, including Lady Vengeance.

I can use waypoints even by not touching them directly? In 30 hours of gameplay, I never imagined I could have done so.

Yeah, there’s a waypoint option somewhere and you can use them whenever. Otherwise, the vines down will be near where you first came in near the little office you had to unlock. Just search the edges of the cliff near the entrance of that office.
