Arx Barracks basement 3 buttons, no signs?

I don't mind a game not telling you if its a quest or not or what it is. I'm used to playing Dark Souls where they just dump you off in the land of the undead without telling you ANYTHING and basically "have fun. figure out it out", but at least there are clues, signs of some kind which, if you're observant enough, you can figure it out.

Except this puzzle down here has three buttons with no signs. I've read all the books in this bottom room, I've pressed all buttons in each order possible, pressed them at the same time, tried putting boxes on various vents, and nothing. Just the characters saying every other second "that sounded unsuccessful"

Thanks lol. Seriously is there some kind of clue I'm not getting? Once again I don't mind a game that's vague on quests and stuff as long as there are clues which guide you. I have literally no idea how to open these secret doors lmao

There are four buttons, and they have the exact same order as the combination to the latch above. The names of the buttons correspond with the Magister's motto, same as the hatch entrance.

It's been a while, so I can't be sure. That generally sounds right.

y its 4 button. even if you have no clue, its should be no problem trying to press with every possible chance. there is an indicator (click sound or something) that you press the right/wrong button.

before last boss tho, there is an annoying puzzle. i would like to know if someone really have a real clue about this. all what i find is a direct answer without explanation

You mean the lever puzzle? Somewhere before you get there you get a clue that you have to spell “POWER” using the levers. I forget who tells you though.

I dunno exactly. It’s either the Toymaker or it’s Arhu I believe. You can definitely learn it before you get there though.

The toymaker. I tried interacting with that toy of his but I just get into dialogue.

There's a big quest marker over his toy, but I can't do anything with it, and I can't ask him about it haha.
