On the Ropes quest stuck open
So I failed to save gwydian but the quest is still open with the last entry being "Gwydian is dead". I read somewhere that his spirit can still be around, but I've looked all over the area where he dies, his house, and where Hanang is but I can't find him. How am I supposed to close this quest, is it bugged out?

So far as I'm aware the only way to successfully end this quest is to save him. Either load an earlier save and try again (you can avoid the big voidling fight - and all XPs / loot - by simply teleporting him away from his hanging, if fighting again sounds like too much hassle) or if you don't like to try and try again until successful, I guess all you can probably do is accept that you can't close this quest (nor return to Hannag for your source reward).

Edit: A belated thought - if you managed to save his family from the Magisters at least, perhaps returning to speak to them would allow you to inform them of his untimely demise and thereby close the quest...? Or maybe returning to Hannag to inform her of your failure to save him would also close the quest? Either / both of these might be worth a try if not intending to reload / try again.

Oh, he died awhile ago, I couldn't be bothered trying to save him so I left him dead. I told Hannag about him dying, but I don't think I tried talking to his family, I'll give that a try.

Talking to his family closed it, thanks.
