Lone Wolf duo build..

So I wanted to go something like a blood mage tankier build for one character.. What would you recommend for the second character? I heard that having a actual melee tank for lone wolf isn't neccesary, and I should focus on damage.. Would a summoner be a good for a second character? Or maybe physical damage ranger?

Having both characters dealing the physical damage is probably better than splitting between physical and magical. If your main character is in the front lines with Necromancy and Warfare, the second character would probably be pretty effective as something like a ranger or a rogue. Both should have at least some points in Polymorph, of course.

blood mage is already a damage dealer without any CC, so you need to do either a warfare fighter for knockdown CC or you need to do burst damage DPS like ranger to just outright kill everything so the CC isnt needed.

also a note, its much easier to pull off the necros corpse explosions if you dont have another dude in melee range

I use a 2 handed melee and a Cleric-mancer (Blood Mage with Healing/Hydro spells). If you look at Fextralifes Eternal Warrior and Crystalline Cleric builds on YouTube this should help you.

They are basically a god combo. Tons of Physical Damage, can burst magical damage, and lots of CC with a touch of healing capabilities in a pinch or for more physical damage.

Give them both Teleport, Nether Swap, Phoenix Dive, Tactical Retreat, Cloak & Dagger, and Skin Graft. They can basically dominate with mobility and burst damage.

These screenshots are from a 4 party build but the same thing applies for those 2 characters in Lone Wolf. Screenshots include both stat pages and Hotbar 1+2. There are some slight tweaks to these compared to the Fextralife builds.. they are better optimized. Should give you a good idea on spells and stats.
