Unfair pricing on Divinity: Original Sin 2
So, to start this off, i'm a Turkish guy who is living in Poland. Yes, this is mostly about Steam's policy, but i still want to state this issue. Original Sin 1 was my all time favorite game. I have no doubt Original Sin 2 has the same quality, and even more. But! The issue is, the game is too expensive for a regular Polish person. 45 euros mean 192 PLNs, which we use as currency. Whereas, i also lived in Turkey for 19 years, so i know the economy there. Turkish Lira and Polish Złoty both has almost the same value, and even though the regular person in Poland gains a bit more money than in Turkey, still the pricing isn't fair in any way. In Turkey, the game is 75 Turkish Liras. Which equals to 18,26 euros. In Poland, a country which isn't too different economically than Turkey, it is a rocking 45 Euros. I don't see any fairness here. To give more detail, minimum wage in Poland is 473 Euros, and the minimum wage in Turkey is 432 Euros, when converted from Turkish Lira. You see, different is very small. Yet the price gap for this game in these two countries are huge. Even though i can afford buying this game, i don't feel it would be justified. This is not at all an issue pointed at the developers, it's an issue pointed at Steam, because they still didn't do anything to solve this problem for Polish steam users. Also, I'm positive Divinity Original Sin 2 has a much bigger playerbase in Poland than it has in Turkey. It's a completely wrong policy which steam is using. Since this is the sequel to my all time favorite game, i don't want to buy it from a shady retailer, i want Larian to gain all the benefits from my purchase, since they deserve every single bit of it. Thanks for reading, i don't expect it to be solved just because i whined about it here, but it's always good to have a little bit of hope every now and then. Please excuse my English, i'm not perfect at it.

Only legit sellers atm is steam and GoG.

any third party ones are gray market to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, stolen keys galore. And I bet they;re no cheaper.

Have you tried buying a UK key if you're in europe?
No, i haven't tried that, but i doubt it would be easier, let alone be activated in Poland.

I think the issue is is that the only place to get a steam key is steam.

So steam needs a region locked bank card or whatever I think?

GoG might allow you to paypal from poland without currency conversion.

Recently, i sent this to Larian and i also brought it up to people in the development team to forward it, and waiting if they will do any adjustments.

Does the Good Old Games Fair Price Package option do nothing to bring the price down to a level that you deem acceptable?

I don't see how Valve is going to give a ♥♥♥♥. They aren't responsible for low wages or high import tariffs in other countries.

We addressed this issue to the publishers, it's not about Valve anymore. Also, they are fairly responsible, as they made big changes for similar countries before, that's why games in Russia, Ukraine, Indonesia etc. cheaper.
