wtf is with the bee hives they don't work as crafting anymore did they get nerfed???

i can't even get honey anymore with jars of honey at this point.
i literally tried every beehive in act 1 and 2 and i can't get any honey with any honey jars or empty bottles, when i press it it just opens like a chest,

i've been going online looking for answers like for an hour but everyone keeps saying you just craft them from beehives WTF?
its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chest how the ♥♥♥♥ do you craft from a chest? the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beehive literally just opens as a chest wheres the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crafting OPTION

click them then craft (K I think)

You can't do so at the hives you find in trees and such. It has to be the manmade ones. Check near Peeper's little chicken coop area. There's one there.

oh i just right click on them and choose "combine with"

maybe that will work for you. I did that with the hives located outside of driftwood, with the bears, and had no issues. There's the hive near the coop as Chaoslink stated that works for that too.

I haven't tried to do so with a hive on a tree, but I have no reason to believe Chaoslink is wrong--in fact, I am sort of irritated that they can't be kicked or jostled from a distance to get the bees to come out and act angry on someone else..

Just rob some NPC's and buy all the arrows you want. There is no need to craft anything in this game except for Skingraft, teleport, and Apotheosis scrolls.

ok i finally found a single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ honey bee hive that works,
and no. lol charm arrows literally makes this game easy game.
you can literally just charm everysingle npc and with finally an infinite honey source i've made over
299 stacks of charm arrows enough to last me the game so far so good
